The farm has always been one of my favorite places to go, you can't help but feel calm and relaxed when there. Plus you get spoiled with wonderful meals, snacks, cookies, and company. Madison usually sleeps in until 8:30 or 9 everyday. However, since she was sleeping in the same room as us, she decided at 6:30 was a great time to wake up. So after a wonderful breakfast and some piano playing both girls conked out on the couch pretty early.
Later that day my cousin came over with his daughter Alexandria, she's 3.5. I was really hoping they would play together and I wasn't disappointed. They were so cute, I hope they can see each other more often as they grow up.
I'm so glad we made the 4 hour trip to visit. It's always nice to get away and see family. Since I rarely get the change to see much of my family these days.

To the farm to see the MOO's
Last weekend we headed down to Plain, Wisconsin to visit my grandparents. They live on a 200 acre farm and it's so beautiful there. The morning we left we told Mad we were going to the farm to see the cows. She was so excited, of course the first thing we had to do when we got there was to go see the cows.
It was a beautiful weekend for being outdoors, even Brynn go to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. I love this time of year, winter isn't quite over but it's 40 degrees out, it feels SO warm that you can't help but smile and be thankful for the seasons.
Even the "good girl" enjoyed playing with the cows.
We built our first snowman of the whole winter, sad that its March and we just built one.
Madison can never get enough daddy time. She adores him, and I kind of have a feeling he kind of likes her too. ;)

trouble
I don't know how other moms do it, I have such a problem saying no to Madison, she's just so darn cute and sweet. She totally knows how to work the system. Now that she knows how to say please and thank you I find it even harder to deny her something. She'll just keep getting closer and closer to my face, "I want more ice cream, please, Please, PLEEEAASSSE." She has that look, the one that say "I know you're going to give in eventually so you might as well do it sooner than later." How did my 2 year old get so stinking smart?! It scares me just a little bit. I was hoping that Tony would be the tough one, I was hoping I'd get to be the mom that could always say, "Go ask you father." Knowing that he'd say no, making him the bad guy. Unfortunately Mad has him wrapped pretty tight around her finger.
We're in big trouble!!!

Mad's new do
Madison won't ever let me put anything in her hair, I can barely get it brushed most days so I decided until she wants barrettes and ponytails, she's getting a bob. And boy does she look so CUTE!!!!
I know I'm a little bias and all but seriously, that kid just melts my heart.
Usually she's a little peach when getting her hair cut but not today. She threw a huge fit and we pretty much had to hold her down the whole time. I feel really bad for those poor people at Kid's Hair. But they're used to it I suppose.

Baby B update
Since I got the birth story out of the way I figure I should update on Brynn now.
She's 11 weeks old, at her two month appointment she weighted 11.2 lbs and was 21 inches long. Pretty much exactly the same as Madison at that age. We'll see if Brynn falls off the charts after that too.
Brynn is smiling and talking lots these days, I love when they become more interactive. I love snuggly little babies but I'm a much bigger fan of when I can actually talk to them and get a response. Little baby giggles are the best!
She rolled over on me twice a few weeks ago, she hasn't done it since but she gets really close. She's really strong and loves to stand up and see the world. We're gonna be in trouble with this one I believe.
She started sleeping from 10 pm-7:30 am at 2 months and hasn't stopped since, she's so good and such an easy baby. I thought Madison was an easy baby but Brynn puts her to shame. I keep wondering when they are going to become devil children.
Probably when they are teenagers.
